About Kyle

Hey there! I’m Kyle, and if you’re reading this, chances are you share my passion for exploring new places and capturing those adventures along the way. This blog is my little corner of the internet to share the videos and stories from my travels, both near and far.

Who I Am

Originally from Tucson, Arizona, I’ve since made my home in Kirkland, Washington. By day, I work in tech, but outside of the office, I’m an activity-oriented, excitable person who also appreciates slower, cozy moments—like reading by a fire in a forest lodge or playing cards in an RV with family.

I approach things with logic and curiosity (a trip planner to my core), but I’ve learned to leave space for spontaneity—it often leads to the best stories…. maybe that’s why I love planning trips and understanding how different places work!

My Travel Philosophy

I thrive on variety, whether it’s exploring cozy European villages in winter, snorkeling off a bar porch in the Maldives, or road-tripping through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in an RV. Travel for me is all about connection—to the place, to the people I’m with, and to myself. I also love sharing the stories that come out of these trips—through videos, photos, and now, this blog.

Over time, I’ve learned that the best trips strike a balance between planning and presence. I’ve come to appreciate the moments that weren’t on the itinerary. Travel has taught me that the most meaningful memories often come from the people you’re with and the unexpected turns along the way.
